Effective 14 August 2026. This is the website-level privacy notice for Roamly.
What this notice covers
This notice explains how Roamly handles personal information collected through this website, including account, booking-registration and support-chat information. It does not replace the privacy notice of a hotel, rental company, restaurant or payment provider that you choose to use.
Information we collect
We collect the contact and account details you provide; booking details such as dates, location, party size and travel preferences; optional notes such as accessibility or dietary information; support-chat messages and attachments; and limited technical and attribution information such as the entry domain and UTM parameters. Please do not send passport, card or other highly sensitive information in chat.
Why we use it
We use this information to create and manage your request, provide account access and support, show and recover a PayPal checkout, prevent misuse, understand which website entry led to a request, and comply with applicable obligations. Dietary and accessibility details are used only to handle the request you ask us to handle.
Service providers and transfers
Our website infrastructure and file storage use Cloudflare. PayPal processes payments. Support messages may be translated through DeepL so our team can assist in Chinese and reply in English. These providers process only the information needed for their service. Relevant booking information may be shared with a provider only when needed to fulfil a request or where you ask us to do so. Processing may occur outside your country or region.
Choices and requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or to object to certain processing. To make a request, use the website chat and begin your message with “Privacy Request”. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting. You can also contact your local privacy regulator where applicable.
Retention, security and updates
We retain information only for as long as needed to operate the account and request, resolve disputes, meet recordkeeping duties and protect the service. We use access controls, encrypted transport and security monitoring, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. We will post material changes here with a new effective date.
